Course Overview

Network Diagrams & Diagram Tools

This course has been created with a target audience of engineers who are either starting out in network design, or want to learn about how to create network diagrams using different tools.

The course covers why we need to be able to create network diagrams prior to rolling a solution out, and why network automation or automated diagramming tools do not solve all challenges in network design.

Explanation and demonstrations are also provided on how to use Microsoft Visio, and Lucidchart diagram tools along with a number of high and low level design diagram demos.

Finally, we provide templates that can be downloaded for some of the network diagrams which are shown in the course, for the student to develop and study in their own projects.
